DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nNew this season, NICA Bikepacking is an unforgettable 3-day, 2-night adventure designed for riders ready to take their skills to the next level. Led by trained WI NICA staff, this small-group experience offers limited capacity to ensure a strong coach-to-athlete ratio and a positive, supportive environment.\n\n\n\nRiders will explore the outdoors in a whole new way—combining cycling with self-supported travel. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, teamwork, and resilience while learning how to plan routes, carry gear, and camp together under the stars.\n\n\n\nAthletes can bring and load as much gear as they’re able onto their bikes using provided rack systems (or their own), with additional gear supported by a SAG van. All meals are provided, so riders can focus on the adventure.\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n\n\nAt least 1 year of NICA experience\n\n\n\nAbility to ride ~20 miles per day for 3 consecutive days\n\n\n\nAdditional registration process and registration fee (not included in regular season registration) opens May 1.\n\n\n\n\nMore than just a ride, this is a journey in self-reliance, problem-solving, and a lifelong love for adventure.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBikepacking August 5-7 by WI NICA\n\n\n\n\n
