2022 Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League Race Schedule
As most of you know, we have maxed out on several of our race venues. Thus, we have adopted to implement a program similar to that of some of the other Leagues that have reached this point before us.
This year the Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League will run six (or maybe seven) races/events as well as the (State Championship event). These events will start on Labor Day weekend (September 4) and conclude October 24. Each team will submit an ordered list (first through last choice) of the events. League officials will tabulate these lists, with regard to the predetermined capacity for each event and let each team director know their team’s four race schedule for the year.
Every effort will be made to give each team their top four, but this may not be possible and should request for a particular event exceed capacity, preference will be determined by a team’s geographical distance from the event date of submission of their event request list.
This process will begin March 15th with event list due by April 1 and race schedule notifications going out on April 15th.
We realize there are details that still need to be addressed, (i.e. overall and team scoring, what if a weather cancelation is required, etc.) and we will have these figured out before the start of practice for 2022.
